Petroleum Treat (HC) is a blend of naturally occurring, non-GMO microbes formulated to degrade and consume all factions of crude or modified petroleum products, hydrocarbons and paraffin waxes. The beneficial bacteria in the product consume petroleum hydrocarbons in soil and water, targeting a wide-spectrum of petroleum chain lengths, from diesel to crude.
Bio-Green HC is a blend of aerobic microbial cultures that are effective across a wide spectrum of substrates. Common uses include wastewater treatment plants, water recycle systems, soil remediation, microbial enhanced oil recovery (MEOR) and parts washer machines. Our HC bugs love hydrocarbons, let them have at it.
Location
Los Angeles, California
Problem
Millions of gallons of fresh water used annually to wash bus undercarriages/parts and discharge into sewer. Heavy water usage and high hydrocarbon levels lead to significant fines and discharge penalties from City of Los Angeles.
Treatment
Bio-Green Petroleum Treat (HC) liquid was dripped into 2 tanks with aeration and pH control. The tanks treated and recycled all water that was previously dumped into the clarifier and then to the sewer.
Results
All discharge was eliminated. 100% of water recycled, minus loss due to evaporation and "drive-off" (water remaining on buses after washing). No further fines incurred.
Location
Jakarta, Indonesia
Problem
Contaminated soil from leaking tanks and pipelines at oil refinery. Soil contamination was reported at over 20,000 ppm.
Treatment
The bulk of the spill was reclaimed using traditional methods. Remainder of contamination required bioremediation. Bio-Green HC granular applied along with soil tilling, hydro-seeding and replanting of natural vegetation.
Results
Soil contamination was reduced to below 50 ppm. Site was successfully re-vegetated.
